Pathfields Medical Group is part of the enhanced GP service which offers a home chlamydia kit for patients between the ages of 16-24 years. Simply ask at your local surgery reception. Patients between by these ages can also pick up a chlamydia test kits from the Zone or any of these enhanced service pharmacies.
The kit allows you to take your own sample (urine for men, self-taken vaginal swab for women) and post it to the Sexual Health in Plymouth service for testing, free of charge.
We aim to get your results back to you by text (SMS) within 10 working days.
Alternatively you can order an online STI test kit, which can be sent to you at home and posted back for testing, also free of charge.
